After its presentation at the Biennale Arte in 2023 THE MIRROR OF PEACE was added to the art collection of the Draiflessen Collection.

THE MIRROR OF PEACE is now permanently installed in the museum’s garden in Mettingen, Germany, where it is freely accessible to visitors and invites people to reflect on the theme of peace.

Anniversary 375 Years of the Peace of Westphalia

2023 marks the 375th anniversary of the Peace of Westphalia, signed in the cities of Münster and Osnabrück. To mark this occasion, THE MIRROR OF PEACE will be open to the public in the park at Draiflessen beginning on the 11th of May 2023

Renee van Bavel and the Draiflessen Collection are pleased to present THE MIRROR OF PEACE as part of the anniversary commemorating this important treaty.
