ART: Commemoration.
The Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg in Germany invited Renee van Bavel to hold a seminar about “Art & Commemoration”.
The seminar was executed together with contemporary historian Simone Derix.
During this seminar, students discussed a variety of artistic forms of commemorating the victims of national socialism as well as planned and realized their own commemoration project.
The seminar commenced in the winter semester of 2022/2023 at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg.
